At the Port of Miami, Westhorp & Associates was selected to perform environmental oversight services during the second phase of dredging of the Miami Harbor, in order to deepen Fisherman’s Channel. This project, significant in its scope and breadth, included collecting water samples for turbidity measurements, field observance of dredging and blasting operations to ensure that work is being done in compliance with all environmental permits, and the monitoring of endangered species.
